We had a lovely stay at Abbey Nest and enjoyed the stunning view of Battle Abbey and the town. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and the accommodation was clean and comfortable. The bed in the upstairs bedroom was especially comfy, and we appreciated the constant hot water supply. Despite a few minor issues like traffic noise and the need to clean some kitchen utensils, we would highly recommend Abbey Nest and would definitely stay there again. this hotel exceeded our expectations and made our short break even more enjoyable.

The value for money was excellent and the room exceeded expectations. The location was perfect for exploring the town and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.
Breakfast delights would be improved with a wider variety of plates, cups, and cutlery to avoid having to wash up during multi-course meals.

The location of the property was superb, allowing us easy access to Battle Abbey and the town. We were able to explore the fascinating history of the abbey and its grounds, immersing ourselves in the medieval-themed adventure playground. The bespoke natural play area with its slides, swings, and exciting themed play equipment provided endless entertainment for our children, making our visit truly enjoyable.
For dads, it would be great to have a few more family-friendly amenities available. Perhaps having a small collection of board games or toys in the property would have been a nice addition, providing some indoor entertainment for the kids during downtime.
